I’ve been testing like crazy, and here’s the one that popped off for me last week:
Subject Line:
“This got me 142 clicks in 24 hrs (not kidding)”
- Open Rate: 38.7%
- List Type: Warm list from safelist solo ad traffic
- Send Time: 10:30 AM EST
Why It Worked:
Let’s break it down — this wasn’t luck.
Curiosity Hook:
- “This got me…” - vague but intriguing
- People want to know what got that many clicks
- “142 clicks in 24 hrs” adds credibility
- Exact stats build trust - sounds real, not hype
- “(not kidding)” — this line is powerful
- It counters the doubt before they even feel it
Quick Tips for Your Own Subject Lines:
- Use specific numbers – “10 leads in 2 hours” works better than “fast results”
- Front-load curiosity – get their brain asking questions instantly
- Avoid spammy words – FREE, $$$, URGENT can kill deliverability
- Test time & tone – sometimes casual crushes it more than hype

Love this breakdown, makes total sense, especially about the “soft disbelief” part. People do get skeptical fast.
Here’s one that worked pretty well for me recently:
Subject Line:
"Don’t open this... unless you want free traffic"
- Open Rate: 28.2%
- List Type: Mostly new leads from safelist solo ads
- Send Time: Around 9:45 AM EST
Why I think it worked:
It had that reverse psychology vibe (“don’t open this”) and then “free traffic” was just enough bait without sounding spammy.
Still testing a bunch of other styles though! Definitely agree that numbers and curiosity hooks are the way to go.
