I want to say I clean out my Downloads folder regularly, but in reality, it usually turns into a digital junk drawer. Every few months I’ll get fed up with the chaos, block off some time, and do a big purge, deleting old installers, renaming random files like “Invoice_27_finalFINAL(1).pdf,” and actually sorting the stuff worth keeping.
That said, I always feel better after it’s cleaned up. It’s like digital decluttering clears up headspace too!
Maybe I need to follow your lead and make it a weekly habit instead of a quarterly panic session.
