AI-generated content everywhere – helpful or annoying?
AI-generated content everywhere – helpful or annoying?
#1
Question
Lately, I’ve been seeing AI-generated content popping up everywhere emails, blog posts, social media captions, even ad copy. Some of it’s decent, some of it’s clearly auto-written and just feels off.
As someone who works with safelists and viral mailers, I get the appeal  it’s a time-saver, and tools like ChatGPT can definitely help beat writer’s block. But I’ve also noticed a growing amount of content that feels super generic or robotic, especially in the subject lines and body copy of promo emails.
I’m curious how others here feel:
  • Are you using AI to help write your emails or subject lines?
  • Do you notice when others are using it?
  • Do you think it helps or hurts engagement?
Personally, I think it can be helpful as a starting point, but if you don’t tweak or personalize it, people can tell and they tune out.
Would love to hear your take. Is AI making things better or just more cluttered?
