5 Things I’ve Learned in My First Week Using Viral Mailers

Been testing out a few viral mailers this past week, and here’s what I’ve picked up so far:
  1. Subject lines are everything. If your headline sucks, nobody clicks.
  2. Don’t just promote links — offer value. A free guide, tool, or checklist gets more attention.
  3. Track your links. You’ll want to know which mailers are sending real clicks and which are just bots or “click for credits” traffic.
  4. Upgrades can help, but don’t jump in too fast. Try free versions first and see which sites are worth investing in.
  5. Rotate your ads. If people see the same thing over and over, they stop noticing it.
It’s not “get rich quick,” but it’s definitely an interesting way to build some early momentum or test offers on the cheap.
